CASH SAVAGE + FRASER A GORMAN + RUBY BOOTS + SKYSCRAPER STAN + EXTRA GUEST ALDOUS HARDING
July 9th
7.30PM: DOORS
8.00PM: RUBY BOOTS + SKYSCRAPER STAN
8.45PM: BREAK
9.15PM: CASH SAVAGE + FRASER A GORMAN

We might just have nailed it with this line up. 4 of the strongest alt-country & indie folk acts in the country right now paired off into 2 perfecting fitting male/female combinations.

Ruby Boots travels from WA for this, off the back of her latest EP release. She has been touring solidly over the past two years, had plenty of Triple J love for the cracking song ‘Wise Up’ and has recently stripped things back from a full band to performing a lot more as a solo act. She will be joined by Skyscraper Stan who will give his brilliant band the “Commissioned Flats” a rest for the evening to bring us his authentic brand of alt-country.

Cash Savage usually plays with her band The Last Drinks and is much loved for her hypnotising, soulful performances. We love to see great acts like Cash strip it back, and it will be magic to hear her croon classics like “Sooner Or Later” (see below) with voice and guitar. Cash will be in the round, alternating songs with Fraser A. Gorman. Fraser has just released his new single ‘Book Of Love’ and has done it all in the past two years including performances at some of the country’s most loved festivals, Meredith, Falls, Queenscliff, Port Fairy and Boogie, and supports for First Aid Kit, Tex Perkins, Gary Clarke Jr., Wanda Jackson, You Am I and Simone Felice.

“A concoction of old-west country tunes and Australian charm-of-youth conversation, local boy Fraser A Gorman is both fresh and familiar. Armed with his beautiful, violin-playing accomplice, Gorman could have been lifted from the pages of the Oklahoma! songbook” Clementine Lloyd, TheMusic.com.au
