All Our Exes Live In Texas are a Sydney-based band featuring Elana Stone, Hannah Crofts, Georgia Mooney and Katie Wrighton. They have been doing a mighty job of traveling around the country over the past 12 months, building a fan base for their gorgeous 4-part harmonies and quirky, funny on-stage banter. They recently supported Megan Washington’s comeback tour, and are popping into Melbourne for less than 24 hours to play this show!
They will be joined by Grizzly Jim Lawrie, another local favourite of ours who writes with just the right amount of edge, and poignant wit to make the bearded guy on guitar caper work a charm.
Jack Carty has been building steadily over recent years, touring locally and internationally with the likes of Josh Pyke, Justin Townes Earle, Ingrid Michaelson and Brett Dennan. He just relocated to Melbourne from Sydney (wise man), but is currently on the road with Josh Pyke, so we are pleased he could squeeze in a visit to The Melbourne Folk Club. Jack is a classic troubadour, tugging at the heartstrings, making you feel all the right stuff and giving you that romantic, hopeful, we’re living in a movie and there is going to be a happy ending vibe.
