This show is all about the quiet achievers of the Melbourne music scene, and 3 of the best songwriters you will come across. Brendan Welch has been away from music for some time, but he was the great hope of Melbourne alt-country in the late noughties and we are so pleased he said yes to playing. Sal Kimber has been busy playing with her band The Rollin’ Wheel, but Sal solo is a good thing, the songs are the focus and you get all the gold hidden in the cracks.

We are just going to put it straight out there that Grand Salvo is probably our favourite Australian recording artist. His album ‘Soil Creatures’ is a dead set classic, and his latest record ‘Slay Me In My Sleep’ was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. He doesn’t play live often, and when he does it is a glorious affair.
