Davey Lane & Sara Retallick is definitely the most kick ass round of our April/May program. Davey folks will know from You Am I, but hopefully you have also heard his solo EP ‘The Good Borne Of Bad Tymes’ because it is glistening and melodic and catchy as hell. We think Davey will match up perfectly with Sara Retallick who fronts indie band Jimmy Tait. Retallick’s songs are melancholic and edgy in just the right way, and have just humour and pop sensibility to hit the mark. Check out their record ‘Golden’ out on Spunk Records.

Sweet Jean is Sime Nugent and Alice Keath. They released their debut album ‘Dear Departure’ to widespread praise in 2013 and toured nationally with Sold Out shows in Sydney and Melbourne. They tour nationally with Kate Miller-Heidke in March. This is what old mate Paul Kelly had to say about them…
