Suzannah Espie played a stunning set in May alongside Mick Thomas, so we have been excited to get her back to the Folk Club again. Her songs are some of the finest around – simply gorgeous melodies and lyrics, sung with absolute authenticity and beauty. Okay so we’re fans alright!

Matt Walker’s bio says that he started playing at 14 at the Selby Folk Club so hopefully we can bring him back to those fond early memories. Matt has had an illustrious career playing under his own names and in various bands and collaborations. He has some mighty impressive credentials including 3 ARIA Award nominations (and 1 win), supports for Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Nick Cave, and Gillian Welch, numerous national and international tours, and performances at just about every festival known to man in Australia. Signs point towards this being a beauty.

Georgia Spain is a new discovery we are very excited about at Folk Club. All we have seen is a couple of live videos from YouTube but there is something about her voice and presence that makes us think there is something very special here. Take a look here:
