The Grapes are Sherry Rich & Ashley Naylor. They released an acclaimed album over a decade ago, but have recently been back in the game with the releases of their second album ‘Western Sun’ in late 2013. The record was a finalist for the Australian Music Prize, and is a little beauty blending their love for country, folk and rock n roll (Ash fronted Even for years and plays guitar for everyone else ever, including Paul Kelly).

Miss Eileen & King Lear front the amazing Perch Creek Family Jugband, who have been touring all over the world of late. They also released an EP as a duo last year and the brother/sister combo is magical. Eileen may also be the most entertaining front person in Australia, although I’m not sure if we’ll get her famous tap-dancing at Folk Club!

Charm Of Finches are out of control. 14 and 11 years old and they already have a debut EP and a performance with Clare Bowditch under their belts. They also explained their name by using the term “collective pronoun” the other day, and none of the adults in the room understood. But seriously, they write gorgeous songs, have seamless harmonies and are going to do big big things. They also get our sibling band numbers for the night up to 2. Record!
