Starboard Cannons will head down from their northern NSW homes to launch their brand new album ‘The Valiant and The Brave’. Rhythms Magazine have called the record ““Poised, intelligent, genuine… hell, they might even single-handedly extinguish the cultural cringe about Australian folk” while Timeout Sydney said “Starboard Cannons put storytelling at the forefront with deft instrumentation and deceptively sophisticated songwriting, all given a uniquely Australian spin.“

The Tiger & Me joined us for our pre launch show alongside Tiny Ruins, and it’s a pleasure to welcome them back for a 100% official Folk Club show (no banner at the pre launch). Described by Inpress Magazine (RIP) as “Cabaret/Circus/Euro Indie Folk-Pop Wunderkinds”, these guys are a melting pot of individual talent that only shines brighter when they combine forces.

Archer is a musician we just keep on hearing about. He is a mysterious man with a fast growing reputation, and an otherworldly voice. He calls himself an “old-time sing song man” and he keeps it simple and real.
